Suzanne Culliver brings over 20 years of mental health experience to OhanaPsych. She has worked in general psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and community mental health. Prior to joining OhanaPsych, Suzanne was the Clinical Coordinator and Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner of the Region 9 Inpatient Crisis Stabilization Unit in Mississippi.

Suzanne received her board certification as an Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2011 from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her BSN degree in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Nursing in 1997.  While working at one of Mississippi’s public psychiatric hospitals, Suzanne discovered her passion is working with people living with mental illness.

Suzanne treats her patients with dignity and respect so that a therapeutic relationship can grow and flourish between them.  She provides patient education and encourages patient participation in their plan of care with the shared goal of improving their symptoms.

Suzanne is married with two daughters, one step-son, and a teenage grandson.  She enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and friends, and working in her yard.  She is excited to practice in Hawaii, treating patients like Ohana.
